The 'Mbale' Earrings (meaning 'Plate' in Tumbuka) are a unique combination of traditional studs blended with modern design. Crafted from brass and sterling silver posts coated in a luxuriously thick layer of 14k recycled gold, the Mbale Studs have an organic circular design with a layered bar to create the perfect everyday studs.

Why we love this brand: Every item from this brand is handcrafted in their solar powered workshop located in the rural village of Manchewe, northern Malawi. This work supports 13 full-time employees, 10 part time staff, and numerous community projects that all empower individuals to lift their families out of poverty by creating a living wage, as well as supporting local educational initiatives in rural Malawi.
